Scholarship Amount: $1000

Eligibility Requirements:

• High School Senior pursuing higher education in Fall 2009 to become an entrepreneur
• Resident of Contra Costa County
• Deadline to Apply: June 1, 2009

Application Must Include the Following:

• Complete Name
• Address
• Phone number
• Email Address
• Name of Current High School
• Two References (Include Name, Contact Number, and Relationship to Applicant)
• Name of School/Program Attending in Fall 2009

Please limit essay to one page (12 pt font)
All emails must be received by June 1, 2009

Include responses to the following questions in your one page essay:

• When you complete your studies, how is your business going to benefit society?
• Briefly describe your financial circumstances and how you feel a scholarship will help your educational goals.

All Finalists will be contacted by July 1, 2009 and may be asked to interview in person with the East Bay Business Leaders.
